Me vs. Focus Ok this will be a funny one my brother is currently putting some Nitrous on his ford focus (65hp shot) and he wants to run me. Cant wait till he finishes i'll repost after i waste his ***.

Ok I have bad news he bitched up and said no. However we just got back from trying it out. It is embarassing it is slightly faster but still slow as ****. It feels like an LS1 at half throttle. So he wouldn't race me. Whats worse is he is actually wasting money on head and cams for the pos and thinks he will have a shot at beating me then. Yeah right

get that kid a mustang, a camaro, or a swift kick to the head. you gotta set him right before its too late and he's talking about NOS and upsizing his wing to beat you. then he'll complain that his v-tec is out of wack. before you know it he'll have neon underbodies and a 8"tach and matching 8" tailpipe combo.

saleen does make a nitrous ready focus, and its still really slow. i thought that was perty funny. i think they say 14's on their website. actually, just looked. they say 14.0 at 96 with gas, 15.8 at 87 without. and it only costs $26k.
i don't think it looks to bad, but for 26k..you could get a srt4 with stage 3 and be running low 12s/high 11s all day long....they priced themselves out of the competition with it.

Reckon this looks pretty good (for a Focus anyhow).
Focus RS, 2.0 Turbo 220bhp. Not massivly fast by Fbody standards, but pretty respectable for a 2wd hatchback. It can also lap the Top Gear track faster than a STOCK Subaru Impreza WRX.
The engine should be good for ~350bhp without too many alterations.
