I'm gonna try to run one on motor with my "aggressive H/C" package to see what happens Anything can happen on the street.
They dyno about what I guess'd they would. With a roughly 400 lb. weight advantage it would theoretically take ~49x rwhp to match one.
If I get pulled . . . which I doubt , I'll just spray him and annihilate the paint off the Z

The Mach ran a 11.51 to the Z06's 11.7.. The Mach was also at full weight, spare tire and everything, stock rims with MT drag radials on the rear... So I guess that is what it takes to beat a new Z06....
the Z06 out mph'd him by 6 or 7mph. Slap a tire on the Z06 and it's
all over for that Mach. 440rwhp is nothing without some serious hook.

Like some said it also depends on how you are racing. It's alot easier, using suspension mods or whatever you need, to get an F-body to hook up compared to a corvette. An f-body with similar power will more than likely beat the z in the 1/4, however from a roll i give to the z. Gearing in corvettes make them very fast on the top end.

I don't know what the mph of the Z06 was but the Mach was around 120mph.. And I think he was doing mid 1.6's 60fts..
120mph isn't enough. 11.50's won't be enough either if the driver
of the Z06 knows what he's doing.

BTW, equal power with a weight handicap of 400 pounds as you state, is a recipe for an *** raping....
