I'd say in general, with an average driver, mid 11's should beat most new z06's with a good to average driver. You can play the "well if the Z06 just had _______ it would win game all day. I think most fbody owners would be happy to run with a stock Z06 considering the almost $70k price tag.

The new Z is running different ratio's than the old ZO6. The 5th gear change was needed in order to have a ~200 mph top speed in 5th.

Bone stock motor with bolt-ons, drive train, & suspension mod's.. Why are you spraying with a blower? Are those 4.6L engines disposables?
In response to the original question. It takes the ZO6 to run over spike strips @ the 1/8th mile marker. The ZO6 is bad-*** & is only getting better.

You need an A4, cam or H/C and TC. I know people with cam and TC, LTH and running 11.5x @ 117-119. The ET will take the Z06 but the trap speed is not there. You could not beat them on the street say to 150mph or something like that. A good drag setup would beat them though even without the trap speed.
