944 gets owned
Going into work today @ 0500, had some jackass tailgating me (I was going slow as there are alot of deer on that road), get to the highway, and just casually get on the road, and here comes Joe Cool in his bright red 944, guess he wanted to play a bit, we went from a 35 roll, and it was pretty damn ugly for him, after being left several semi lengths behind my T/A, I shifted into 6th for a relaxed cruise to work.
He apparently had other ideas, he comes screaming up behind me trying to do a ricer fly by, that thought was quickly squashed by a fast downshift to 4th, and me matting the loud pedal, again I left him several semi lengths behind me.
You'd think he'd learned by now, but oh no, he comes and tries again, this time I didn't even bother with downshifting, I matted it in 6th, stopped his passing me at the front of the door, and started walking away from him in 6th gear
Guess there is a substitute for Porsche, it's called LS1
... umm... sure

I've seen a few Turbo 944's that can give mild bolt on LS1's a good run
I just thought it was funny I stopped his 2nd flyby attempt and didn't even need to shift out of 6th

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
that was a good one One definite plus for porsche is they definitely know how to design a Sport seat. My buddy's 87 944 S has sport seats and for 20 y/o seats they are still beautiful, and bolster you in the right spots.
