so now that i won people are writing well look at the mods i have oh the times sucked...excuses excuses...fact is i won accept that the LS1 can be beat...even if just for 1 night...

You won. Therefore, you don't have to say a thing.

I think what's happening is that people are confused more by the trap speeds. Don't allow the questions to become an annoyance. Main problem is expectations. There are some very talented people whom frequent this site. Their numbers are the one's used to judge all others. For this reason, people are shocked when others don't match the times or speeds considered normal for a certain set up & weight. Personally, I feel that there are no issues related to either car. The reaction times & 60' times are enough to understand how the numbers came to be. Anyone whom has spent time @ the track has seen cars run 2 seconds or even 10 MPH slower than they should.

Again, nice kill & I look forward to hearing about future races.

Watch out that LS1 is tricky once its in its powerband anything could happen depends on where your top end is alot of modded 4.6 mustangs run out of breath on top end but the LS1 keeps on pulling!

You keep saying that SS has a hypertech chip, what the hell is that? I know you use Hypertech to tweak shift points, adjust speedo with gear swap and has POS power program along with few other features but never heard of hypertech chip.

My first time at any drag track was at moroso with my 1999 Trans Am. My only run there I got a 13.8 @ 103.5 with a 2.2 60' with a lid and catback A4. Went to Englishtown in NJ with the same mods and got a 13.4 @ 104 with a 2.1 60'.

Things are a bit different now
