i lost to a del sol one night in houston in my ta. i took him off the line pretty good but was pissed when he slowly went by me at about 80 or so. people that were standing where we took off at couldnt tell who won. that bitch wouldnt tell me what he had done to it he just said he took out the power steering and ac.........people said he had a motor swap and other stuff
so who won?

get a torque converter rated to 3600 stall or higher
or he'll dump his clutch and go

I wish people wouldn't make threads like this. People just throw out hypotheticals about cars that may or may not exist vs. their car they've never raced or had dyno'd, and ask what will win.
It's just an excuse for every moron with a friend of a friend to start making generalizations like they personally worked on every car in question. You should always overestimate your opponent if you don't exactly know what they're capable of. The fact of the matter here is that no one really has a clue what said civic can do.
I like coming to the kill stories forum to read about people killing rice, battling worthy cars, and loosing to better cars and learning from their experience. Not to hear a bunch of trolls mouth about what should happen.
