I know a guy with a WS6 formy, (its LS1) not sure the year, did they make the WS6 in a formy??!?! (He claims to run 12.7 with a 2400rpm(yeah, wtf??) hughes stall and full exhaust and Volant air) Sounds beliveable to me. But he claimes its true WS6 car, did they make formy WS6's?

People have said this too me as well. I told my friend I was getting a Firebird T/A and he said, "is it a WS6?" me: nope just a regular T/A. and its always like... oh... I'm surprised some know what WS6 is because I sure as hell didn't until I started looking for some to buy and came here for "research". I honestly don't think WS6's look all that great. I also had a friend who told me "It's a Trans-Am not a Firebird, if your going to own one at least know what it is." So I would reply, "So is a Mustang GT just a GT not a Mustang? or how about a Cobra?" Some peoples children...
Supposedly he is going to buy a new Shelby GT500... I really hope he does so I can run him.

Thats all true folks but nothing is more sad as when a LT1/LS1 guy knows nothing about his own car.
Recently at a show this guy who owns a white LT1 Trans Am comes to me and asked, "hey how much hp those give you? (talking about my Volant setup), "Ive heard they give like 50 or something, right? at this point I know the poor guy knows ****. I replied "Its advertised as giving 20 or so but in reality I doubt it gives more than 10 at the most." He Looked at me like Im talking **** and then says, "how much hp these LS1 have? I said, "they are ALL around 350 at the flywheel..." He laughed and said, "BS, dude those dont even reach that unless is a WS6 and still they fall short!!!" Since I was not in the mood to educate this pathetic POS I just said..."whatever...go read a bit more about these cars, you need it.."
