Who Would.......... Okay very shortly here I am going to be buying a Auto Lt1 Formula or trans am and when I get it I am going to put PS LT's and TSP X pipe and a K&N. My question is my trash talkin buddy who has 99 GT 5spd. that just has exhaust says he could take me no problem. How bad could I take him from a roll......... dig? Should I be worried?

Race from a dig, he gets an advantage from a roll. I'd put my money on you as they preform very similar stock for stock, but you'll get much better gains from LTs and true duals than he will with a catback (if thats what you meant.)
And I just noticed you mentioned it was from a roll. If he insists to take it from a roll thats not so bad if you both agree to make it a long race. The higher you go the better chances you have...imo. Do a race from a 40 roll to like 120+ if you can find a safe place to do it. I'd say it's a pretty safe bet for the F-body.

id give you the advantage. a friend of mine with a 6spd 95 t/a can take me. he has LTs, duals, moroso intake, nitto's and a stage III clutch and he can take me by a little under a car. so id say your car with exhaust should have NO probs with a GT stang
You should be able to take him from a dig even stock, his car is rated at 260/300 flywheel stock, depending on the year of your car you should put around that at the wheels (maybe less since your an auto) Just dont get him from roll, because if he jumps infront of you it will be tough to pass him in time.

very sure but we could get into what mods they have ie. dr's gears etc. etc. but with the given info. no contest if they both can drive look at the numbers and i've been lurking on svtperformance.com for a while they fear the gm torque lol and there are many kill stories to prove my "theory"

O yeah I can drive..... I may be only 16 but I have been racing go-karts since 9, raced 180hp 1000 pound legends cars and now I am in 600hp super late models, driving/racing is what I was put on the earth to do.
