No i don't know the owners of the 2 cars you raced but i've heard about and seen the wipple. I haven't been to carpet & tile in forever. Do you dyno at Chris's (tulsa dyno)? if so, how much does it cost?

Hey unit213. Do the whipples put out the same as Kenny Bell? Or if anyone else can answer. Just curious as to the difference.

Scott that doesnt make any sense to me at all. If it starts out ok it should stay ok. Only thing I can think of is the fuel solenoid is turning off in the middle of the run and then back on. I know you had the issue with fuel solenoid not working at all when you first got it and that and this might be related. I never found out what was exactly wrong with it. Only on thing can cause the lean condition like that and its no fuel obviously so either the noid is shutting off or there is a blockage maybe?

The Whipples are NOT as efficient as a KB but much better than an Eaton.

I know, you made me jealous when you first told me about it as I never go to feel it launch. I bet it feels like a freaking monster.

*EDIT*

Check and make sure the fuel system has atleast 10 psi under load. Take the fuel line off of the nozzle and get an empty bottle and put it in that and turn the system on with the bottle closed and hit the WOT switch and see what it drops to when running. If its not 10 psi adjust the set screw on the regulator. That might be causing the issue.

That's also not true.
The Whipples seem to actually put up better numbers with similar combos (comparing KB 2.2).

Basically they make the same power with the same supporting mods.
A Whippler is a 2.3L blower while the common KB is a 2.2L so the Whipple
is a little bigger. KB does make a 2.4L for the Cobras. Whipple makes a 3.3L
blower for LSx applications. It won't fit on your average
LSx though.

A couple of things strike me as weird on those dyno sheets, have you changed anything?

1. All motor torque falls off really fast, thats weird.

2. On spray it leans as soon as the nitrous hits, you can see that by curves in power. Are you sure your priming the fuel line before you spray it? It comes down fine after it leans out and looks just like it does if you dont prime the line.

Here is a dyno sheet I had of it when I had the nitrous system jetted a little rich and it fouled the plugs out.

Heres a vid of it on the dyno that day.

The only thing I have done to the car is plugs, wires and a 12bolt with 373's. Other than that nothing.
