So I finally met up with the guy who traded in his 69(?) Camaro for a mustang GT last night. I had my buddy with me (170lbs Im a vert too). Anyhow he has exhaust intake gears and ECU. I wasnt really ready to do any racing but I figured what the hell. He launched it hard and got a bit of wheelspin. Me with my bad torque arm did not launch at all. Anyhow he got the jump on me and his rear tire was at my front fender. He pulled SLIGHTLY until I got into my powerband and hit second. He stopped pulling. By the time 3rd came I was ever so slightly pulling but it wasnt enough. We shut down at about 70ish or so. Im not going to call it a kill for him though. I dont care if it sounds like Im making up exscuses, but I did not want to **** up my car last night.
Like I said I had a shot torque arm so no launch there and I was shifting at about 5600 on the tac. Damn I wish I had that TA though. Guess Ill get my chance at him again when we meet up at Bandimere.
