sounds like he was pullied, exhaust, intake and probably gears. that would make a lightning a low 13's high 12's truck. i beat my friends lightning by 2 cars when i was stock and he just had a flowmaster muffler.

Lightnings are bad *** trucks, however at higher speeds they turn into bricks and that hurts not to mention that they way a hell of a lot. Here is an mpeg of me racing my buddies modded lightning when I only had intake and exhaust......Oh and for the record, he whooped me up in the 1/8th. So that tells me that them things can launch and pull hard on the bottom.

HA HA...that was fun John. Your lucky you didn't race me before I sold it, it had a few more goodies on it and I was hitting 8.0's instead of 8.3's and thats with 20's, would have been easy 7.8's and 12.5's with out them instead of the 12.7's I was hitting. Now we need to line up the TA and Vette...later bro

Your truck was bad ***, and it whooped me in the 1/8th but it couldn't pull from a roll and I think it would have lost in the 1/4 when I just had my CAI and cat back exhaust. But my car isn't nearly the same now a days. So you better check yourself........you might want to get some spray before you come knocking on my door.
