lost to a lightning :( okay,just got the car and raced a lightning. I won the 1st race, then lost the 2nd. It seemd the cars pulled identically, his just alittle stronger though... like he had 1-2 cars on me when we shut down. I have a 2000 z28 6-speed. I did most of the free mods, but what will really make up that 2 car difference?
is your car a manual? If it is, then just getting used to shifting it, and when to shift at could make the difference.
Anyway, theres only one way to find out how youll do against him now......

sorry about posting in here... I'm new to this forum and didn't see the kill story section! But anyways, he said he had a knn drop in filter and exhaust. I have done the free cold air mod... and that's about it. I think I'd catch him after 140mph, but by then the race is getting dangerous. I'd get him just because of aerodynamics. Those trucks are boxy. I think that even if I shifted as fast as possible, it wouldn't make up the gap. He does pull on me just alittle

I've raced my co-workers lightning several times on a local 1/8th track and I have beat him everytime without spraying. The races have been very close, those trucks are fast, at least his is. I pull on him a little off the line and that is pretty much why I can take him, from a roll I dunno. I respect his ride.
