01 Z28 vs 03 540i 6 Speed? I have a co worker who just brought his second 2003 540i 6 speed and says he wants to race my lightly modified 01 Z28 M6. He says he needs 5 car lengths from standing start and the race must be for a mile?? Now my Z28 went 13.5's 106mph before 4.10's, KNN, Exhaust, lighter wheels, crane tune, 315/35/17 DR's! I know these cars (03 540i 6speed) go about 14.2@96mph stock, I'm not gonna race for a mile (at least not anymore) on the street so I'm trying to figure out how much of an advantage if any I should give his car in 1/4 mile race! He may have an exhaust, intake and chip by the time we race, and I may add a NOS kit if I think I may lose! What do you guys think?

Lot's of 1 mile races out here in NYC, but I agree it's too dangerous to street race as it is, no less for a mile! I'll run'em in the quarter and probably make him feel comfortable by spotting him a car or two! Thanks for the replies!
