Turbo rx7 vs camaro SS I have a guy with a 97 rx-7 with a big turbo put down 500 hp to the wheels and im going to race him with my procharged SS that put down 680 hp to the wheels we are racing from a 5 punch witch car do you think will win

The one with 180 more WHP? How high are you going?

You need more info on the RX-7. RX-7.com's car made a little over 500 to the wheels and ran 9's, but of course it was set up for drag. With a little of 600 whp it ran 9.2.
How is his car set up? Tire? Port on the motor? A streetport with a Gt42R isn't going to spool too quick. Now a 1/2 bridge with a T51R SPL DBB and you could have some trouble with a guy that can drive.
R1's weigh around 2780 lbs. stock.
But is this real?

I got a 93 rx7 to do a ls1 swap, love the car, hate the motor.....But after the swap I'll keep it for a spare so when the b16 goes out on the mower I've got a replacement

you are going to completly murder him if you CAN DRIVe. you car is just a supeiror motor to his not to metion you are throwing 180hp more to the floor.
