Nope were talking the new 1 mile track that is for members only, oh i just met a new clown thats runing 9s in a gsx, oh he thinks he can get to 8s perrty soon all he needs to do is step on the gas 100%, he only had it at about 75% last time, also his puting down a whole 230 or so, but he can drive "really really good"
Oh i did beat both of them in my friends v6 firebird, (he does low 11) perrty rich dude, And according to them i doing at least 7s at the track and atleast puting down 450rwp. My friend and i just laugh and we no longer aruge with them, its like talking to a wall.
But i am in south NY so we go have alot of mr2 and evos and others kicking ***.

first and second generation dsm's can be nasty fast. The 4g63 mitsubishi block is a very solid foundation and can produce 800awhp combined with sub 3000lb weight and awd and youve got a little street terror for relatively cheap. Slobarus are hard to make really fast Srt4's cant hook up but can be very fast from a roll due to their low weight and relatively large (for a 4-banger) engine. New evo's are running high 12's bone stock and when the pig rich fueel maps are tuned properly low 12's are easy. as previoulsy said a evo can be in the mid 11's for about 1500 (cams, exhaust, mbc and tuning)

I never thought I would have use of this info, but I took my wife's bone stock 2002 Neon ES to the track last year just out of morbid curiosity of what a stock Neon runs. The results : best ET 18.040 @ 75.15 MPH ( this was with both of us in the car so minus a passenger , maybe a super high 17 sec. run). 1200 ft elevation at the track on a cool fall day.

It's the longest 1/4 mile you've ever seen in an 18 second car. I had a .218 RT and a 2.547 60' because it's that damn slow ! Your Silverado will kill a stock Neon. A bumblebee will kill a stock Neon.

Start off by asking them questions about there set-ups ask them if theyre running boost maybe listen to there cars run or ask to see there engines look to see if theyre running a turbo or any nitrous lines/selinoids........the fart can guys with no apparent blow-off valve noise are the slow ones, alot of times just by asking them basic car question you can tell if they know anything about car performance or theyre just kids with small cars, either way watch out for srt-4's
