You must be shitting me. Supras with body kits are gay, a stock Supra is bad *** looking. If anyone I know sees a Supra, its like holy ****, because you don't see them everyday. When I see a trans am, I am like damn, what the **** is new. A T/A looks ok, but those two are not in the same league.

A supra or 2 in the 8's? I meant just street applicable that I know of, there are tons actually in the 8's. But who cares which makes more or less power to get better times? Like I said, a lighter car will go faster with less horsepower. Who gives a ****?

Oh, and BTW, I have had a cammed LS1, I didn't quite get 22 mpg highway, and it was a sixer. Now I am building an even crazier cammed car, and I don't expect 20 on the highway. And I don't even plan on running 10's off the bottle. AND this is in a RX-7.

i found your problem silly. plug those last two spark plug wires back in.

and LS1 has 8 cylinders. 1.....2......3......4.......well, i got lost now, but there's 8. your logic is saying that because you had a cammed 6er that didn't get 25 mpg that a cammed 8 cylinder won't? you do realize they're two totally different engines yes?

This thread is absurd! Haha i read all 4 pages, and besides a few legit posts what the hell is the topic? I thought from the title it was 900rwhp LS1's, but now its a 4-cylinder vs LS1 arguement? Plus no need to hate on the DSM, and for people hating on Supras, why? DSM's are great bang for the buck cars to mod and make fast, no matter what your opinion is on their looks, and non-body kit supras are one of the cleanest looking/designed cars IMO. Back to the name calling though as it makes for great reading haha.

You have got to be kidding me. Ok kiddo - here's a little something you DIDNT know.

Technically any of the cars made after 1992 arent DSMs. DSM was bought out completely by DC and was dissolved in 1999. So, the plymouth lasers and only the 6 bolt block 1Gs were considered DSMs. If it has a 7 bolt, its not a true DSM. Later models have the stickers for continuity but are not. And no one with half a brain will own a NT DSM, so I'm hardly going to waste anyone else's time about talking about. Kinda like the Chevy crowd doesnt like to bring up any F-Body cars from the late 70s when talking about good looking cars. Personally My favorite car with a 4g63T (hint hint the T stands for TURBO) is the Galant VR4, a limited edition version made for 2 years in the early 90s but is entirely a mitsu car. A 4 door grocery getter that can make over 400HP with simple bolt ons. Tasty!

Oh, and DSMs were made in Normal, Illinois. The only part on them NOT made in the USA is the block, which was made in Japan. So technically they're more domestic than your F-Bodies with parts made in Mexico and Canada.

Now, get AIDS. I've owned my Talon for 5 years now and I've read plenty about them. The fact that I've put a 4g64 to replace the 4g63 motor in my car MIGHT mean I know a little something about these cars.

He's running 7s with his DSM. Full glass and body as it did the day it rolled off the dealership and still uses the factory mitsu AWD system.

Bret Rau is running 6s without any nitrous with his DSM.

8s are SO last year.

No one NEEDS a 300HP sports car. Who needs an LS1 that can make 400HP? Let alone a 900HP one. No one. Get off your damn high horse and realize that none of us need our high performance cars and we simply enjoy them. Some people take their cars WAY too seriously.

Tracks have been closed for a few months and wont open here in Colorado for a while yet. Last year I was trapping 114 in the 1/8th with a smaller turbo and no nitrous.

Edit - Went looking for the slip and realized its in the car. The car is in Colorado Springs at the moment having surgery getting it ready for next season. Sorry.
