Correct me if i'm wrong but i've always considered the term "ricer" as a mindset not so much a car or in general a type of car such as imports. I respect any import or domestic that has power, however those people that don't have power yet go around acting as if they do and start **** with people due to ignorance i consider ricer. Don't get me wrong just cause it's an srt-4 doesn't make it a ricer at all, hell a camaro owner could be a ricer if he posessed the same mentallity of the srt-4 owner in this post.

 

The guy was an ignorant doofus and deserved to be shown his place. He obviously doesn't know much about cars. How many mustang, camaro, corvette, etc. owner have we met just like this? I personally have met quite a few. Not ricers, just idiots. Usually the term ricer is used when the car is covered with stickers, has obvious appearance only mods (big tail pipe, altezzas, aftermarket wing, neons, bright colored dash, etc..) and most of the time is a Virtually Torqueless Economy Car. JMHO...

I cringed when you said he bounced off the rev limiter on the launch.

SRT's have an inredibly short and steep first gear, and a ton of torque for a car with 6.5 inch wide tires and FWD. So the typical feathering doesnt even work with an SRT...... the best way to make it through first is to half throttle it all the way and then go WOT in 2nd and power shift the rest of the way.

 

hes got an 04 kb, lt's w/ custom exhaust, intake pulley.... everything you can do to a car basically, the only thing he has left he can do is head/cam, which he is planning on throwing gt40's on pretty soon, he dynod at 648/673 at the wheels
