Unfortunately yes. My shift starts at 5pm and ends at 3:30 am. I normaly don't work fridays though. But this week is mandetory overtime.

Ain't that the truth. Was just in a 427 C5R based vette this weekend,...did a 2000 rpm 5th gear start to nearly the top of 5th.....it went from 65mph to 190mph in a matter of a few seconds. Nothing like an all muscle pull(unless you add spray to that... )

jermzz my run against the Cobra was N/A and I was dynoing around the 460 rwhp range, it had a tiny *** street cam in it. It wa actually a funny kill because his girlfriend rolled up beside me after I pulled his *** and told me that bottles were for babies which pissed me off. I told her that was all motor and they both said noway an all motor car could pull their 500 rwhp Cobra. We pulled over and I showed them my bottle was off but offered to rape the **** out of their car now that it was on if they so desired. She got all huffy and said she was going to go sit in the car, LOL.

Well I have worked out a deall with Ed Wright (FAst Chip). He is tuning my car @ 2 today. This just keeps getting better and better. I will post dyno results and hopefully some footage of that too.

Thats hilarious! 4 cars on a 500hp cobra with a 460hp 408? It seems like it takes another 50hp to the wheels in the cobra to match an LS1. Just as a rule of thumb from what i've seen. Except in this case. That's a lot of space bro! I have about 415 right now and it take around 460 or so to pull me, but i'm not a stroker yet. Confused probably has around 550, and hes thinking it will take 600+ cobra to keep with him. I guess its just the weight huh? Or that artificial power? hehehe.

Confuzed, Post up those numbers today man! I'm willing ot bet with that cam you're pinging right around 540 / 530 With a fast setup you'd be doin even better!

****! I need to change that. My McLeod didnt work even a little bit. So I had some guys rebuild my old setup. It is way stronger than the McLeod or Spec 4. It is a brass clutch and they usually make these clutches for semitractors. When I asked the HP/tq rating, they laughed at me. Then said if my lil car blows througgh that clutch they will rebuild it for free. It should be rated well over 1000 rwtq. And it is a much lighter system than that damn McLeod! Those are heavy bitches. I gave it to my buddy for all the help he gave me on my car.

Is it a retail clutch? Im thinking my clutch is gonna be my main problem....!

I dont know what the deal was but it was proven to make those numbers. Im thinking power under the curve on the 408 waas the deal.
