Theres a guy here in Memphis that had one he built. I believe its still the fastest b18 in the country. He ran 10.6@142. Full street car. Hes a member on this forum. I think his user name is B18C1HYBRID. Not sure on the mods. I think he had a big turbo and spray.

My car was quick but my no means the fastest in the country, it just ran good for a daily driver. The 10.6@142 on turbo only and it ran a very traction limited 10.8@147 with a 75 shot.

yeah my friend is really looking into gettin a swapped crx and he says w/ just a swap they usually run high 13's. the best part out about those cars is the price tho imo. u can get one alrdy swapped for only like ~$4k.

something must've been wrong with his car. or he couldn't drive. with 20k in a honda. that's easily a 10 second car for sure.

Theres a guy here with LSVtec that hangs ok with a KB Cobra. He also has nitrous though. The car weigs 1300lbs with the driver... that car is loud as **** but it is fast. Its an impressive car because it looks like a piece of ****, but it can move.

Even a fully gutted crx doesnt weigh 1300lbs, more like 1800 or so.

wouldnt a huge launch bend that lil frame with alot of power? i know theyre FWD but still there is alot of inertia being transfered into a frame that was designed for an economy commuter.......how do those things hold up after a while?

There are some brothers down here in the Midwest with some fast Hondas. Their EG Civic hatch (or is it EK??) was running low 11's at 130mph and their CRX was trapping in the high 13xmph deep in the 10's. I did save a soundclip on Putfile during last year's SC races but it took a dump for whatever reason. It was faaaaast! I think the slicks on it were the same size as the car....lol.

yeah but the logical choice would be to have a good starting point and a 13 second car dynoing at more than 300rwhp with a solid axle suspension helps 2........

^Which is why you see a lot more DD 11 second F-Bodies than just about any other car.
