Well im the 21st reply in this thread and the first to say to you: GOOD KILL. Who gives a **** if the vette should have won because he didnt. Hit the track soon run a mid 11 and shut the pessimistic benchracers up.

no match for a 11.5@126 mph car like the C6 Z...however, on the street with a not so good driver in the vette, I can see him winning a street race...

Well, I was looking at members' mod's in the 10 Second Club forum and it doesn't look like I really need a lot to break into 10's ... a lot of naturally aspirated guys already there ... a little more weight reduction and I think I'll be there. I've been on this planet over 48 years and have seen a lot of drag racing setups/combos/races. I ran against a SS Camaro with full bolt-ons recently. The guy sprayed me with a 125 shot and I still beat him, so, I think the stock C6 Z probably should have gotten beat off the line up 0-60.
I'll run it soon and post my time slip. As for A4 versus M6 comments, I would think A4's would have the advantage at the dragstrip ... all other things being equal.

410 rwhp, cammed with all the bolt ons, 5000 stall converter and 3.90 gear = 10.986 in the indy suspension vette

show me a 347 (forged doesn't make power) with 205 heads and mild cam that makes more than 400 rwhp on a A4 and big stall....then call me a moron. I know stock cubes can make 480 rwhp with monster cam and big heads through a M6, but not an A4....moron

However, I am surprised to see a lot of people sayng that you wont see much over 400WHP with 205s and a baby cam. Apparantly the 205s do better with higher lifts.

Just to clarify...I said you won't see 347 cube A4 with big stall making over 400 rwhp on a dyno....easy to do on a M6...people just don't realize what an auto with a big stall does to hpo numbers on a dyno...

Depends on the efficiency of the TC. My Yank SS3600 claims 98% efficiency. With it locked, I believe I would make the same numbers as a M6 ... right?

Aww, bullshit, No Way you beat his 70k car. I mean its the NEW Z06. The badge alone is worth 30 mhp (mental horse power).

J/K Good kill. He probably has had the car a few days and doesn't even know how to get into competetive mode. I'd say look for him again and have a talk with him about meeting at the track for a legal showdown.

Haha!!! Yeah, I'm gonna' try to talk to the guy and see if he might wanna' go to the track. He may be pissed off because I beat him, though. Some folks are funny about that. Those are fast cars, though, and they look mean. This red one looked like God coming up behind me in my rearview.
