the wick a little bit this spring and shoot for 140mph traps. It's just

It makes 150rwhp more on just the blower. Now add a good sized
shot of spray and there's the "several hundred more horsepower
than 460."
Now I understand why you think Cobras are dyno queens. It's because
you don't know **** about them. I, on the other hand, am fully aware
of the capability of a LS1.

the dumbasses from the racers right?
Part of the "problem" is that these cars make a **** load of torque
down low and it makes them difficult to drive without some good traction.
A 315 Nitto is honestly a complete waste. I can literally roast it through
the end of third gear...and that's on a prepped track.

I'm going to run 21psi and a 150 shot with some aggressive timing.
I really couldn't say what it's going to make power-wise. 21psi should
be good for around 640rwhp then whatever the n2o does for me.
My tuner is one of my best friends. His car runs 212mph in the 1/4mi. I'm certain
he'll get every hp out of it. I'll post up the vid/graph here.
Why can't we all just get along? I guess I'll have to put a pic in my
sig of my old LS1 to get any respect 'round here.

at 120-123mph...plenty to dominate a LT1 with your mods.

Post up some intelligent comments if you feel the need to be negative.
Thanks.

Unless something incredible happened, that's not true.
The fastest mod motor car runs mid 6's and the fastest LSx car (Casper)
ran high 6's. I don't even think a LT1 based car broke 7's yet. I think Rick
is close though. Not 100% sure.

Ummm, yeah that's what I'm saying. Let's deal with reality here, the LT1 is just an SBC with aluminum heads. Do a search on the net and let me know when a 4.6 or an LS1 is doing 5s. Most professionals still race the old iron block SBC because it's faster. That's just life.

lol ok great a car worth more than some peoples houses has an SBC in it and runs 5s therefore teh lt1 is far superior to a dual overhead cam V8 and its very own replacement motor the ls series....
i forgot the car industry likes to design things worse than the previous years model to laugh at consumers...
however to get more on track here....man i think i could teach my little sister to drive that cobra past you with probobly 130+ more rear wheel hp. i mean early in the race ok i can see the driver having a huge affect on what is happening but 120 is all of third gear and into 4th...and a chunk of fourth by that time the extra power would have to allow him to pull like a freight train...that is just my thoughts though.
good kill.

@ 325mph since that's what top fuelers run.
There are no LT1's running 5's, 6's, or even 7's. Like I said, not 100% sure
on the 7's.

Only problem I see with the mod motors is that they keep blowing up. I've seen two local KB cobras blow up on high boost. Scary.
The sold axel coversions are no joke at all though. Much better then that IRS crap; atleast for what you're using it for. They also need more cubes and need to go on a diet.
They sure do sound good though

A local DSMer blew up his motor on 20psi from a mid-range turbo running only 20 PSi when the internals were good for about double the power he was putting down. Why did it blow? He was a moron racing the car without bothering to look at detonation, AF ratio or EGT. Put the number 2 piston right through the intake mani side of the block.
You can blow any motor anytime at virtually any power with forced induction if you are running way to lean or have detonation issues etc.
The new Mod motors are probably some of the best FI lumps ever put on the road for public use.
