Ran into a CBR 1000RR (initially thought it was a 600RR, oops)....ran him from a 40 roll, I got the jump...as soon as he started grabbing his clutch I hit it. Surprisingly, I pulled him and he never caught back up. He was VERY surprised, as was I, I fully expected to get beat by a 1000RR from a kick without my nitrous. I was still hapy though.

nitrous should be back working this week...

Hey, I thought I wsa rolling up on a 600RR, not a 1000RR!!! I followed all the way down coliseum, then turned around cause I thought you didn't want to race, then you followed, so I was happy...till I saw the "1000" where the freakin "600" is supposed to go. That's why I took the jump...when I saw your left hand twitch on the clutch I whapped it! I figured I needed that much of a jump against a 1000. I should be out this weekend if nice out, maybe even this Wednesday at Halls. Once I get my nitrous on, we can have a "fair" race...I may even let you get the jump then to make up for me taking it the first time. What year is your bike? I don't see many CBR100RR running around, nice looking bike.

My car should run good on a 150 or 200 shot then maybe I can pick on some stock busa's and such...maybe.

A friend of mine has a stock 01 gsxr600 and doesn't believe my car can "hang with" his bike....I tried to race him yesterday, but he was busy. Boy, is he in for a shock...

Thanks man, It's an '04.. I was in the same boat as you, I didn't think you were gonna race, I don't usually race cars anyhow, but I could tell your's was a beast. Even after I gave you the thumbs up I thought you were just cruisin till you nailed it..

Anyhow.. was definately fun, Maybe I'll look for you up at halls wednesday or next weekend to say hi... Have fun.

 

Ran a new 636 and a new 600RR and beat them both from a roll and a dig...with a 300 lb passenger. Ran a buddy with a 01 R6 with some mods, and he beat me a little when he kicked in 1st gear, if he kicked in 2nd gear I would get him a little (again, I had a 300lb passenger, and he had no passenger). We need to go from a 50 kick on the highway...everythime we raced a car was in front of us.

The guys in the 636 and 600RR were very surprised....
nitrous should be on this week with my rebuilt solenoids!
