rx-7 vs hawk
rx-7 vs hawk i just got this hawk few weeks ago from one of the member on here and this is my first real race. i know ive raced few evos,c5 and etc etc but this was something worth posting it.. so here it goes.....
i was getting some sushi for lunch with my gf and was just chilling about 70mph and all of sudden i knew something was next to me. it was red mazda rx-7 with pillar gauges,wing,hood,exhaust and i heard BOV...or wastgate sound. anyhow, i believe that my hawk is putting down about 409rwhp so i figure it should be an easy kill but guess what. i was wrong. we went from 50-140mph and that rx-7 was pulling on me(very slowly)
and he was about 2 car lengths at the end of the race. after 140mph we both slowed down to 60mph and i gave him a thumbs up and he returned the same.. what a cool guy...
after lunch, my gf asked what it will take to make my car faster and i told her about NOS... then she said she will pay for the NOS~!!
guess i won something..
ps i love my girl...

And hey, nice death. The RX7s that are still running are often part of the 'Go big or Go Home' type crowd, and they can be plenty friggin mean.
A 100 shot would fix this problem pretty darn quick.

Yeah there are a few of us lucky enough to find a "hot rod" girl. My wife will race you in our SS quicker than I will. Oh she also changes her on oil, plugs, wires, and with my help do any other work on a car. Damn I love her!!! Nice death.
My girlfriend, now wife, bought me a B&M shifter for Christmas once. I really wanted roller rockers because I had a shifter already. Oh well, it was the thought that counts. Now you should lose more often on purpose and work your way up to a turbo.

Nice death. I had a rivalry going with a local RX-7 for a while (in the Cobra) and that thing was plenty quick. Girls like yours were raised right by their Papa's. My 17 y/o daughter just did the altenator in our M30 vert yesterday while I observed. Ya gotta teach 'em right.
