So i'm gettin gas today and i notice this blue mach1 parked at the gas station, so i hurry up and finish so maybe i can see him take off. Well i get in my car as he's pullin' out and haul-*** after him, we end up at the same light that take's a left turn onto the highway(overpass). It's two lanes turning so i get up next to him and rev it alittle. The light turned green and we both go, i get on it a little harder then him, i guess at this point he finally realized i wanted to race so he get's into it. Once i hear him really hit it i do the same. Well basically as quickly as it started, it ended. He walked my *** hardcore, I mean from about a 20mph roll he had 7 cars on me by 70mph. Albeit i'm completely stock lt1 auto with 2:73 but damn i didn't think i'd get killed this bad. Oh well, it was fun anyways, especially since this guy gave me the time of day in my lowly stock lt1.

Dont worry. I had intake/exhaust on my LT1 car and took Mach 1's out all day. I also had an M6 though..

 

I'm betting he was modded.

Those mach 1's are quick but hey everyone get spanked now and then, its just nice when you have enough ***** to post up and say it.

 

I have a better idea guys, forget modding the hell outta my lt1. I'll just by a 99+ c5 and mod the hell outta that. I new i'd get owned and actually i was happy i did, it was cool to see him runnin' away from me like i was standin' still. My guess is he had simple bolt-ons but i doubt he had exhaust cause i've heard alot of mach1's and this one sounded basically stock. At best i'd say intake and a tune, either way it was cool.

Now someone buy my damn car!

Are you serious? The potential of you're LT1 is great, why sell? There are very well modded L98's wiping the floor with Mach 1's at the track. Ten seconds is ten seconds, no matter what engine configuration you go with...

Oh, don't get me wrong i def. love my lt1, but i'm more of a vette guy (c5 to be specific). I love everything about them, looks, handling, and power. A nassau blue m6 c5 is my dream car! My friend is fixin' on buying a 96-97 ws6 and is planning some pretty crazy stuff. Actually one of the best sounding, looking cars in the local f-body club is a 96 ss, but still just not me!
