Pummeled an 05 Viper long story sorry
I was leaving the movies last night at the light from the theather a Silver viper pulled up. It was a couple late 30's?. Anyway i ask how it runs and he replies decent. Light turns green we make our right turns to the highway 3 lanes. I pull up beside him, he's in lower gears high rpms just tapping the gas the break traction with little chirps.
Two intersection later we get a light. I ask wanna go he's like " if thats what you need to do" Ok now I feel like a dumbass. Light turns green he takes off! Immediatly 2 cars before mine ever crosses the rear tires off the lines.
Very next light caught him I get up there and he asked "where were you at?" I didn't think you wanted to run I said. he said "I didn't you did are you happy now?" hell no I want this light ok . I stall up to about 3000 lights goe green I roll out 1/2 car ahead of him till I put it all the way down at 30mph. I break a little traction, not much but pull to 60 when he stops the pull. I let off at 70.
we are approching I 40 going to 421 so he motions me on.
As we are trying to get a clear spot he releases a huge purge clould over his window. ( I've only seen a purge like that on rail dragsters it must be like a 8an line it was huge) With that he smiles and down shifts.
traffic clears with a transfer shorlty behind us I flip my bottles on and arm the first stage, as we slow to 50. 3 beeps and we are off It was murder from 50 to 70 I pulled 2 cars instant. From 70 to 100 opened second stage I had him by 5 and let off. He pulled back up and gave signal to leave.
So we get off the high way, on the off ramp light he tells me nice run he wants another change we just need to stop at the exxon. we pull in he pops his trunk and goes to swapping bottles.
He was a cool guy named Steve, it has a 100 dry or he can turn on a seprate cell and use a 200 wet he tells me. I only admit to a H/C he didn't ask if I was spraying.
anyway last run 50 mph, I have first stage armmed 3 beeps and we are side by side till 85, open second stage then I pull away 2 cars till 120.
I think he has a 2 stage is what it was just that he dont have remote bottle openers. There is no way I can beat on him that bad with his 100 shot then just a 100 more and he hangs? I have his number we are going to a track sometime soon i'll find out more about this thing.

I bet you shocked the **** out of him. He probably figured it would be an
easy victory.
You obviously have a mean car if it has H/C and a two stage. I'm sure
you have all the bolt ons as well since no one does H/C and nitrous
first.

Damn, I love reading your stories. You seem to find them all. Between the neighbor with the 911 turbo.
