Chase and won?
I was driving on the main road today coming home from Auto Zone. I'm in the right lane because my street is about 1/3 mile up ahead. There is a very slow truck turning two cars in front of me. They are building new condos/houses in that area, so it's been backed up a little.
Anyways, I was going 45 mph (the speed limit) and I was forced to slow down because the large truck made a sharp turn. I was about to change lanes, but decided not to because I wasn't in the mood for weaving through traffic. As I stop sharply, a BMW sedan lightly hits me from behind. I turned around and its some older-looking guy who was on his cell phone. I put my right turn signal on immediately to let this guy know where I'm going to pull over. Thinking it was no big deal, he switches lanes and zooms by me. I wasn't about to let this guy hit'n run me. I saw his plate and quickly memorized it. The model of the car was something like 325i. I honestly do not give a crap about BMWs, so I don't exactly remember the model. This guy started speeding, trying to get away from me. At one point, I looked at my speedometer and I was going about 85 mph. I kept on his tail and eventually got next to him. I signalled for him to pull over. He waves in agreement and we pull into Lowes.
I looked at the back of my car and saw there was no damage. He looked too and apologized for running. He said he was in a hurry. I was getting ready to call my parents and get my insurance out and he comes up to me and gives me a wad of twenties. He said, "Here is about $300, that should fix any damage. I'm really sorry, but I have to go. Here is my card." I have his number now, too. He gave me $280 when there was really no damage done at all. Good thing I chased him down, eh?

Thats great that you caught him and he wasnt a total dick about it. But if it were me, I would have made him stay there (with a citizens arrest if need be) and called the cops. Im sorry, you dont do hit and runs. I had a someone do that to my crx when I was in college, they totalled the damn thing cuz it was a truck that hit it. Either way, drop that cash on some new drag radials man, they are always needed.

Oh, sorry for not specifying. I made another thread, but for some reason it says I have 0 posts.
I was driving a bone stock '02 Z28. I have invested about $250 on interior modifications, but nothing engine/exhaust related, yet... I have about $1000 to spend, but I can't touch that money for another couple months. So, should I buy drag radials with the money from the guy? Thanks for all your help.

Good kill

By far the coolest kill ever posted. Good thing you decided to pursue him
and not just call his plates in.
