got a few runs in saturday night!! Well went to Bloomington sat night to do a lil cruising....was gettin something to eat and noticed a sonic blue cobra had made a few laps around the steak and shake....we walked out and he was parked across the parking lot...him and his buddy got out and started walking towards us!! we talked for a lil bit...he had ported blower/pulley/cat back/diablo tune/4.10's/
asked what i had and i told him my mods.....he told me he ran an 11.70 at the track...well we decided to go hit em off...we decided on a 25 roll....well we went on 3 honks and we layed into it...we stayed even through first and most of 2nd...by 95 i had maybe 2 cars on him...we let off and he pulled up and gave me a thumbs up...well we are trying to find our way back to the steak and shake and i notice c5 tailights up ahead...i get up on him and he must see me coming cuz he slows and drops it in first at about 35mph...3 honks again and i pull off the bat and keep pullin...i let off about 85 and hes a good 3 cars back....i slammed on the brakes do to red and blue flashing lights on the shoulder up ahead!!
Get back to steak and shake and a black ws6 is in the drive through...i drive around a throw him a couple revs and pull in the parking lot...he pulls over and tells me he has H/C/sheetmetal intake/LT's/gears/6spd/bolt ons/Dr's...i tell him all my nods ...he talks it over with his buddy and they decide they wanna run but only from a dig...i follow him and he waves me up beside him...his buddy gets out to flag...drops his hands and i pull out immediately and he spins through 1st & a lil in 2nd and i keep slowly pulling through the gears...id say it was probably 100 ft over a 1/4 and i pulled bout 3 cars...he says he missed a gear(BS) but wont give me another run...oh well...good runs!!
