Default Ran a cammed LT1

This was a weird race because I NEVER see anyfast cars in my neiborhood. I was driving down the main road in my subdivision and I see this blue LT1 with HUGE rires in the back, it was cocked up in the back and slammed in the front. He has some prostars with some HUGE MT DR's out back. It was a 6-speed, he said it was a 355 with a big cam and full bolt-ons. The car had a nitrous kit but was not hooked up at the time.

Anyhow, 1st race we did a 45-120 and i was maybe 5 cars out on him. The next rac i wanted to give him a chance so we did a slow roll, maybe 10mph, I knew I was gonna spin but I figured id catch him anyway. We both take off and as usual I blew the tires away bad, but he didn't get to far out on me, I started to move ahead of him at the top of 2nd gear and after that I just walked away, put maybe 4 cars on him to 110 or so. After that my damn brakes were shot, lol. He said he ran 11.80's on the gas and dynoed 350 on motor. Was a pretty quick LT1.

yeah 11.8 on nitrous. makes sense if he's running the little hotcam. He needs to get a real cam like a CC306 and some ported heads. Hello 420+ rwhp

It could be a real small TPiS cam.

A ZZ4 cam does have a lope. It's extremely small however and I would consider it a baby step above a stock cam. 350 rwhp is for a small hotcam. You can hit very near 400 with better cams. After that the stock heads have to be ported out, you can hit about 275 cfm with them.

We had an LT1 at our dealership with ported stock heads (about 288cfm intake if i recall) and a mean cam in it. Car was FAST! Previous owner ran 12.5@115 with NO TRACTION. Definitely a sick car.
