Default Modded Srt4 Kill

Last night I was driving home from Fridays and the track and I saw a C5 z06 go buy followed by an srt4. They were going in and out of some light traffic, after a few moments of debating I decided to play catch up. They come up to the light I had to turn @, the z06 goes right, and lucky for me the srt4 was going left. We were the only 2 turning and this is a 4 lane road. I had my friend in the car and I knew the srt4 was going to play around. Light changed, and after we turned the srt4 hit it and got the jump. I have an a4 so I normally drop it in 2nd if im going to run from a low roll. Well whenever I drive around changing gears myself, I notice I usually get to around 40ish before it redlines, well when the srt4 hit it I accidently put it in 1st , I dont know exactly how the tranny works, but it took me up to about 60-70(where 2nd normally goes to), well since I screwed up, while I was going up to 60-70 I put it back in drive, well when it redlined it didnt seem to want to shift back into drive so I took my foot of the gas a bit, by this time the srt4 was prob like 2 cars on me and it finally went into drive and I hit it and I passed him and after I had a car on him I shut down. I dont know @ what speed I shut down prob like 90-100ish maybe a little higher. Anyways I talked with the guy for a min and he said he was running in the 13's.

nice kill, but let your tranny do the shifting. It will live longer.

Its Pointless to Drop it into 2nd Gear Feels Like a Turd Then. Leaveit in D .Or if at a lower speed 1st could be an option

Yea, im guessing he wasnt very deep into the 13's, considering I f'ed up some and still pulled on him like nothing with a friend in the car.

Actually, whenever I drop it in 2nd, whenever im in a lower speed(anywhere from 20-55ish) i feel much more power and it feels much quicker than when I just punch it in drive. Although whenever I run 1/4's or from a dig i'm ofcourse always in drive.
