You rearend it strong enough, if you support it. Im launching off 125 shot of nitrous and with slicks. no breaks yet.

lca, panhard bar, sfc, girdle, stud kit, auborn hi po posi, motive 373s, and no wheel hop.

Again, that fool aint runnin 10.4s
Don't compare your A4 with his M6. He needs a better rear period!! If he can get the car to hook, I bet that he would be neck and neck with that guy. 126mph is easy mid to low 10s if he can hook.

but he said he trapped 126 spraying 3rd and 4th. dude sounds like you got something wrong with your 408. sounds like even on spray you wouldn't have caught him.

What are the pros and cons between the two. What % do you loose with a 9"?

He would have, the car trapped 130 mph with 70+ less hp than it has now.

If he was on radials he probably didn't spray out of the gate. As a matter fact, from the way you described the race it sounds like he went to the gas top of 2nd or beggining of 3rd, when you stopped his pull.

Like was said, with a 12blt/9", a tire, and you spraying out the gate I don't think he'd touch you. With 126mph traps tapping the juice in just 3rd-4th you should be low 10's/high 9's easy with the aforementioned and spraying through the 1/4.

You are right. I would not of caught him. My problem is traction. I just had the car dyno tuned a few weeks back. She is fine. The problem with my low MPH is traction. I know normally you gain but my traction is that bad of an issue. I have as of today started to move forward plans to get me all my traction and 9's!

The 9" is stronger and with the power that you are making, even the 12 bolt won't last.

dude my buddy has a 408 in his 6spd car pulled a 2.08 60' and went 11.0 at 131 shifting normal on the stock 10 bolt with 3:42's in the car so you need to find some more power in that thing.

How much weight reduction did your buddy have in his also?? Scotts car is rather heavy, somewhere around 3550 pounds without driver.

568 rwhp isnt enough to go 11.0s with a 2.0 60 especially at 131 mph in a full weight f body, its physically impossible. I know your going to come back and say blah blah blah blah but until I see it Ill never believe it. Ive been around f bodues and drag racing for 10 years and everyone i know with full weight f bodies that put low to mid 500s to the ground dont even go that fast with 1.5-1.6 short times. How is a car making the same power that weighs less, especially with your "larger than most" friend in it, going to go slower at a lower trap? It doesnt make sense.
