Great runs man.. My cars mods are: JLT CAI, PHP Intake spacer, stock motor, Hooker Lontubes 1 3/4 to 3" collectors, 2.5" O/R X pipe, Magnaflow Catback.. Fully built rearend with 4.10 gear, upper and lower control arms, adj. Shocks in the rear.. My front suspension is all stock still, "waiting on my K-member to come in", Aluminum flywheel, Ram HD 900 Clutch, aluminum D/S, TKO tranny, The weight of the car at this time was around 3300lbs with out driver, I had my daily driving rims/tires on. My car runs pretty strong on motor and on the bottle.. I'll see you around again sometime.. Let me know if you get a N20 system and I'll help you install it..

So a H&C TA with full bolt-ons is about even with a bolt-on Mach from a 45mph roll to 120?
I don't think his suspension mods were helping him any given you guys went from a punch.
Props for posting the outcome.

dan's mach is about 200-300 pounds lighter than the TA. Dan's car also has upper and lower control arms and the thing is setup for drag racing and has 4.10 gearing. dan was putting his power to the ground while not spinning the tires much. basically, his car is biting the pavement. im thinking he's making 330rwhp maybe more. i don't know if he was powershifting or not but it he was powershifting and the TA was doing regular speed shifting, i can definately see dan being dead even until he runs out of gear.

these quick mach's may only have 320-330rwhp but don't let that fool you. they put every one of them to the ground and that's all that matters! most have aftermarket trans, big rear gear, full susp., and lots of weight reduction. when you get the car down in the low 3000's it doesn't take a lot of hp to make it move out. look at the 02 zo6. if that T/A is full weight then there is no reason to doubt this post!
tx ss you need a bigger cam to make full use of those heads!

I do not do a lot of posting on this forum but I do spend a massive amount of time browsing and I have read about dans car on many occasions, so I realize that it is pretty fast. However, I find it very disappointing that a heads/cam ls1 can not take out a bolt on mach. I mean, seriously, a bolt on mustang dead even with a h/c ls1??? That just sucks...

From a roll it doesn't make any sense, but from a dig definately. Dan's able to put his power to the ground. Any F-body with a stock rear isn't gonna do that.
I ran mid-12's @ 110ish with my CAI/exhaust TA with a 2.0 60. Now imagine I had a 12blt w/ supporting susp mods. Low 12's wouldn't be unrealistic. Maybe even high-11's on a good day. No CAI/exhaust-susp. Mach is gonna run that number.
F-bodies have more power stock for stock/mod for mod, they just don't put it to the ground. Mustangs do.
It's really not that hard to grasp once you understand that...
