Theres a couple BMW fanboys there that just don't want to admit that their high and mighty bmw got owned my a little redneck trailerpark camaro,as they probably see it...

But, for the most part, I'd say they arent too idiotic about it, they just don't know much about f bodies...

Oh welll...

Did you guys catch that one post saying that a 69 ZL1 camaro would beat a 4th Gen ZL1. Personally I find that hard to believe but correct me if I'm wrong.

Can a 69 zl1 really run high 9s with slicks and full exhaust and alittle messing with a carb? That sounds alittle far feteched to me... But then again I don't know much about the zl1s. I am gonna go do alittle research.

Here's an idea, maybe he was racing an LT1 camaro... it would seem more realistic that way. If the guy doesnt know the diff (the noticeable diff are the wheels and the front end) between the two, i suppose they're easily mistakeable, especially from behind! Maybe the guy's CAGS kicked in?

At the same time, if this guy WAS a carlength ahead, he would've seen the headlights. I'd suggest that to the M3 especially since he really doesnt seem to know to much about F-bods. But that's to be expected, i dont know too much about Bimmers.
I assume that E46 are the nineties M3's?

maybe modern slicks. Its still far fetched.
Lets say for arguments sake its putting down 550rwhp (with SAE standards), and 500rwtq, in a sub 3k pound car, with good weight transfer and a damn sticky tire. I dont know if thats 9s, 10s absolutely into low 10s, but 9s is a push.

That was some funny stuff.

"I'm a kart racer, so an x-pipe on a stock ls1 is good for 370 or more rwhp." (equal to Terminator Cobra).

It's funny how people on ls1tech generally seem to be knowledgeable about all the types of performance cars, and every other car board I've read a few posts on, about half of the posters are just ignorant about anything other than their own car.

Bet you're a little defensive about the LT1, huh?
