I am not taking up for 25psi dude, just letting you know we might not all be here for late model chevrolet sports cars. I'm not here for that.
No you're just a ricer at heart who's trying to fit in with the big boys by putting an ls1 in your car.

Anyway, I'd say this site is for any fan of the LSX-powered vroom-vrooms. Things like LSINA7 whoring his car (as usual) or someone preaching X car > Y car are to be expected, no big deal.

Seriously, if that is the best you have, try again.

In your infinite wisdom, why is it then that the new Z06 is destroying cars worth twice as much? By your theory it should only be half as fast. Why would a bone stock Cobra crush a stock 350Z? I mean, they're in the same price range, it should be very close.

This is a Cartek 3X car.

This thread is indeed hilarious. I should change my username to 30psi, cuz that is how much boost I'm running in my 87 Buick Regal V6 lately.

Don't ban 25psi, I like comments implying that 350Z's have stock boost levels and that s/he implies that C5 roofs go flying off.

Because this is LS1Tech, not 350Znutswingers.com.

I mean sure we can call the Z06 factory stock but some on now. In the end it's pretty much the same as having a built motor.

Even a stock Z06 isn't really stock.
No, a Corvette Z06 is in fact a 100% factory stock car off the showroom floor. Going by that logic, a WRX isn't stock because it comes from the factory with a turbo. Think about what you are saying.

And you know this for a fact?? No, thats just you guessing. The $32K 350Z can't even hang with cars costing thousands less, so how would a $70K 350Z hang with cars costing 3 times as much, which is what the Z06 does?? Extremely unlikely.

No, I don't think he is whoring his car, he's whoring an LS1 out to a 7 But seriously I think that is a badazz car you got there LS1NA7, must be fun to drive!

There's a lot more to just the cost of the car that made them go extinct. I know this is just opinion but even 1990 a 300ZX TT was about 40K. What car in 1990 had the looks that car carried....The 300HP it put out on 9psi stock and reliability it offered? The car was amazing IMO way ahead of it's time cause till this day it is a bad *** car. I think if Nissan were to try it again in today's economy the car would sell very well.

I personally think it was a solid car, if a bit overpriced...the looks are in the eye of the beholder, of course. I've seen some really nice ones with minor appearance tweaks, from a stock standpoint both the 300ZX and Toyota Supra are a little bland to me(but hell, I own a LS1 Camaro...).

Personally go back 1 year and get the 944 Turbo, just as fast with only 217hp and obviously looks and performance potential is outstanding as well.

I recently was thumbing through my old Car&Driver magazines, and happened upon an early 90's issue with a 300ZXTT/SupraTT/Corvette/RX7TT/968/3000GTVR4 comparo...interesting read. If I recall they chose the Supra as the winner. Looking back it's funny, because today you can get far more performance for much less money, but in those days(coming out of the terrible 80's) it was a relative golden age of performance.

Find me a viper with a 100k on it and we'll start from there. 99% of them are garage queens with ultra low mileage. Their resale absolutely sucks with high mileage so their owners tend to park them. I wouldn't even consider a viper with over 50k.

yeah I agree with you on a lot of points. It really is amazing the power you can buy today compared to in those days. I just remember as a kid how 300Z's, RX-7, VR-4, and Supras looked. They may look bland for now but back 15 years ago they were awsome power houses. I would like to find that issue of road and track, you wouldn't happen know the year and month of the issue?

After the last shift it looked like the Z06 was starting to run away from it but than they shut down. Good race, but the bolt-on & twin turbo'd 350Z goes down to the NA Z06. There can be only one Z.

430/377 from an LSX specifically an LS6 H/C setup sounds WEAK IMHO. Must have been a very mild cam to say the least.
