It gains 10 rwhp on a bone stock LS1. The gains multiply greatly on boosted engines.

They sell all day long for $250 - $310 shipped in the used section or $400 new. It's the best money you could spend letting you engine breathe.

p.s That car is a killer as it is. I can't wait to see it 2 years from now.

^No kidding.

Given the kind of airflow you are getting with that turbo even at 5.5, an upgrade in the mani would be great IMHO. This is especially true when you consider that everything else has been upgraded somehow. The heads are ported, you have a cam, obviously intake and exsaust work for the turbo has been done. So the intake mani might be a big bottle neck for you. I bet if you did upgrade you would find your AF actually hit more like 11. Even then your still running a bit rich.

Just a guess, but you could easy get 50WHP from a tune and intake.

With a 408 and more flow from the turbo that intake will be a big big bottleneck.

I don't think they sell the kit anymore, the base non intercooled kit I beleive used to be in the $2500 - $2800 range

then add your own intercooler for about $500

That's pretty damned impressive at that low of a boost setting. Mellon's Stealth is a 11.40/126 MPH car. I don't think he was even at 20 PSI when he ran that. You've got yourself a monster there. Congrats. 408 down the road too? Holy nasty street car Batman.

They had a budget kit that required to use your stock exhaust manifolds. They also made a kit that came with tubular manifolds like mine.

what's up Will, good run man, I couldn't have lost to a cooler guy, no bragging no disrespecting whatsoever even though I got walked on. To be perfectly honest I'm just glad that I was in the same zip code when you lifted

I'd like to give it another try soon, I've got 5 gallons of c16 beggin for me to disconnect the wastegates (30+psi) should make it a bit more interesting. I've recently increased the rev limit and put on bigger intake pipes so I need to perfect my race gas tune first which will probably be this weekend.

Yes the 400 rtanny doesnt help at all on the hwy. its slipping, and more boost will make the combo much more potent. shoot another 5 pounds would give 100+ rwhp easy. more boost is needed for sure, sound good too
