for sure, it is all about the revs. retard. but i do know that when it takes 2 minutes to get your car up to 8,000 rpm, just so you can shift into 3rd, and your only going 29 mph, your not winning anything. i have seen some quick 4 bangers, and for the most part its not the cars i dont like, its the idots that drive them that make me want to

They run smaller motors and insanely short gears some of the sporty imports have 4:40s or taller. The first few gears are insanely short yes but 2 mins to hit 8k? I don't know the exact time it takes me to nail 8k or my 8500 redline but in first its really damn fast, like just enough time to react fast.
