Fadi, no internal work yet. Headers, x-pipe, electric water pump and a tune put me at 499. With that and a slipping clutch (stock) I ran 11.0 @ 130 in the 1/4 mile. It now also has the new Corsa exhaust(quad tips), air intake, no cats and I had a RPS stage 4 clutch installed. I have other custom work done with some prototype stuff from Zip Products a Corvette Forum vender (the air intake and shifter). Check out their web site and it shows my Z with some of the stuff done. I also have the weight down to 3060 lbs at the track. www.zip-corvette.com

Man my SS had 4.10's and if I went to 3rd at 55 it would bog pretty bad, I think I woulda hit 2nd. I know in my SS at 6700rpm in 2nd Im doing 70 so you had enough room to go to 2nd gear.

I don't want headers or a cat-back exhaust as I am really enjoying the quietness of the car right now. I don't want my car to get too loud. So, I am looking into a mild cam, intake, cats, and a tune. That should put me a little over 500 rwhp. I think that would satisfy me, for now..hehe

Thanks Fadi. Now if I only could get someone to play! I ran a 2006 BMW M5(stock) and an 04 Cobra with 520 RWHP (per the driver), both were strong cars, but I still pulled them easy. I'm waiting to get my butt kicked so I have a reason to buy more mods.

 

Hey Fadi, and 1Badair can I get in on the next one? I corrected something on my car and she is running a little better. Fadi, the weather is looking good for Saturday afternoon. Allngn, great #'s on the FRC. I'm sure there's not much on the street or track that can touch it.

Fadi and I have already discussed it. We'll get a race or two in over the
summer. I travel frequently for work and I have limited time available
right now unfortunately.

I've seen enough C6Z's run to know what they are capable of. I would
never underestimate one. However, I'm confident that I can hold my own.

 

I have to get in on that one. At least to be a passenger or something.

If I were Fadi, I would throw some Kooks, a monster cam, ported heads on the exhaust-side, and a tune as fast as possible on that stock 'Vette
