13.67 @ 105mph in my LS1.
The difference is that I didn't run my mouth about how slow other
cars were while I was running 13's...and those same cars run
13's.

.. it's certainly cheaper, but it isn't necessary.

It let go RIGHT after a header install at 28K and he spent in the range of 5500 to get THAT NON -blower motor rebuilt and only added a set of Crower cams, maybe a little headwork. I tried to get him to go another route like a 03-04 Cobra motor, but he declined. There will be a vid of our upcoming race sometime later this month, stay tuned.....

The Crower cams might makes things very interesting if your buddy geared his car correctly (4.30's minimum) and if the headwork was done right...

With the proper bolt-ons, gears and sticky tires, internally-stock '99 & '01 Cobras have gone basically the same ET/MPH as what's listed in your sig.

I know my friend VERY well, I know what the car "could" do if set-up/modded right, anything can be made to be fast. But I know what he "won't" do as well. If he somehow manages to get close, let's just say victory is only the flip of a switch away
Give me his contact info & I'll set him straight...
