Thanks to all those who commented, both good and bad. I am shocked that so many people looked at the clip, over 1000 and counting. Thanks to everyone and stay tuned for the next vid.

Read my post about 5th and 6th gears.
Unless one has a very high horsepower car (700 or 800 rwhp) our .50 ratio 6th gear (you have the same as us with your 3:42) just requires too much torque down low to pull. I know from personal experience.
Ask LINGENFELTER about that
And if you STILL believe you can do a top speed run in your current 6th gear on your current set-up . . . by all means . . . take it to 190 in 5th and then drop into 6th . . . let us know what happens

Might as well just hit the brakes.

jesus i feel like i'm playing need for speed. that thing sounds badass, man.
if you decide to do this again, put a little seafoam in your brake booster. cops can't pull you over if they can't see you

According to LG Motorsports they have done several cars exactly like mine with full aero kits and an extractor hood that have done 210+ mph. I can't wait for my aero kit, wouldn't want to fly away. LOL !

At extremely high speeds you don't wanna hit the brakes right away. If aggressively applied, you could inadvertently swing the rear end around . . . this would be bad.
190 . . . 200 mph . . . slowly lift off the throttle and allow the tremendous wind resistance to slow you. Then I'd recommend applying serious throttle at 175 or so; with aggressive brake application at 160
I like allngn c5 . . . we have the same psychotic illness
