91 is a FC, not FD. The Type RZ was a special edition car only in white in 2000 in Japan. It was TT. There was a Bathurst Type R, made in Aust., England, Japan, Etc. It was also TT. None of the FD's ever made were N/A. FD is a chassis code, as well as FC. There were non-turbo FC's, 91 and below. Therefore you friend has a non-turbo regular old 160 hp FC RX-7.

Oh, and BTW, BOOYA!

As for there not being any import competition around here i stand by my statement! I dont know of or have ever heard about all these people you speak of and sure the **** havent seen them rollin around between 6-9 in the evening (hunting time) anywhere near my neck of the woods. I would also be willing to bet some of the cars you talk about are trailer queens with bookoo dollars behind them. Im sorry for not being ****** specific enough but the class of cars i speak of would be street/strip daily drivers kinda like mine. Of course theres fast Dragsters at any strip even here. And yes im sure even a few imports but the number of them here and all over NM seems to be COMPARITIVELY lower than just a few miles away in Lubbock or for all of Texas for that matter. That doesent seem to hold true for domestics though. Maybe that will sound a little more kosher to some of you!

At first i didnt know what the hell cause it took my pos computer took so long to buffer so there was just a blank screen. In the end i did watch it and i have to give it up to ya that was pretty SSick. It had to be in Albq. or Santa Fe from my guess. The vid i thought you were referring to is like 30 min long and has all the same characters (busa, blown viper-dont think a supra though) and is in a desert setting that in previous discussons with other people had gotten mixed up to possibly be NM. Once again i wasnt implying that there arent fast cars around here at all. Just not MANY imports that are competetive in my daily driver street/strip type class.

Thats cool man. Just wierd there aren't some fast ones. Hell I live in the middle of nowhere and I know of at least 5 or 6 10 sec. imports.

it seems all the potential rivals cut their own legs off aroun here. Knew a guy w/an Evo that he was starting to mod until he totaled it. I met him through the guy down the street that used to run a bad black wrx that would hit 12's. The only word i can think of to describe the launch was VIOLENT! No good reason he trades it in for a new legacy. The other dude drives a stock SRT4 now. All the good imports that are driven by peple who race get wiped out oround here, why, i do not know?
