If it comes stock on the car its part of the car and should be considered as part of the car.


I bet you think the 03-04 Cobra motors arent that great either because they have to have a blower. Any 4 cylinder that handle 30 psi on an aftermarket turbo and make 500 whp is pretty impressive if you ask me.

Thats the same thing RSX guys say, and it still sounds like a ricer statement coming from you.

And acutally the motor is fine, its the tiny turbo that sucks ***.

The car is built for boost, if it wasnt, dodge would have put in higher compression pistons in it. Thats like saying the EVO and STi arent **** without their turbos.

The freakin skittle motor isn't even dodge....lol Mitsubishi 2.4l engine wtf?? I beat up on my friends stage 2 and he has aftermarket blow off valve, manual boost controller, CAI, Catback.....He was only dynoing at 267hp/302tq and was running 2.0-2.2 60ft 13.5-13.8 at the track w/101-103mph traps, in 90 deg. weather

stage 2s usually run mid to high 13s at 19 psi boost

Wrong, engine is all dodge, the turbo is a mitsu TD04. Stage 2 sucks.

yea i talked to some people about that srt-4 i was racing....he says stage 3 but from what i have heard it may not evn be a stage 2......i dont know **** about those cars so i dont know what to look for

Stage 2 dynos like crap. It does alright at the track, but a stage 1 car with an aftermarket wga can be just as fast or faster then stage 2 at fraction of the price. Most guys with stage 1 and bolt ons dyno around 260. Stage 2s I have seen dyno put down around 245 and around 260-265 on high octane mode. Stage 2 runs too rich. Now if you take the time to get an aftermarket wga and a map clamp on stage 2 and tune it, it will put out good numbers.

The best route to go is a bigger turbo.

If he is stage 3 he should be trapping around 117-120 on HOM. Off the race gas he should be trapping 112-114mph. But there are always guys out there that are full of **** too.

yea he wont open his hood or anything all i know is that he has a bigger turbo cuase my friend bought his stock one

Thanx for the info.....I just go by what i see and what my friend tells me about em...He is pretty good guy and deosn't exaggerate about things....I haven't ran into one that is highly modded as of yet...but i haven't been to the track in a while either Last time at the track I was running really good times for what i had in mods at that time, best time was 12.7 109mph & worst was 13.1 out of 3 runs

Take the extra head off of your motor and see how it does.

The turbo is a part of the vehicle's motor, it won't run properly without it, exactly like the cylinder heads to yours.
