Re-read your post quoted above:
1. You amount to personal attacks to misdirect us from the fallacies you have protrayed in previous posts, and,
2. My car has no relevance to the thread at hand. Well, it's 4g63 powered like the EVO in question, but that's about it. I do have more experience with 4G63's than you do, so at least my points (in this thread) have merit, unlike YOU. If I cared about your "opinion" on my car, I would have asked you about it. Bottom line, that "POS" car is daily driven, reliable and would kick your car's ***. Any more questions or are you going to retract back to your 4th grade school theatrics, logic & reasoning? Grow up sir! You are misrepresenting your community.

Nate81camaro, EVO's are manufactured in Japan.

It doesn't matter how fast your car is, it still looks like a turd. And polishing a turd resulting in nothing more than a polished turd. It will never be a nice car. I can strap a motorcycle engine to a lawnmower and make it fast, does that make it a nice vehicle in any way?? No, it doesn't, and the same goes for your car.
You are the one who needs to grow up. You're obviously just some 16 year old riceboy with a modded DSm that you think is the best car in the world. You have a lot to learn
Anyone who would want to buy a car from a piece of **** company like that is beyond me
His easter egg is one of the most beat up, dented, needs paint, smelly cars I have ever seen.
Lastly, he's not 16... he's like 29 and delivers pizza's for a living from dominoe's. Big winner here talking smack.
Anyway, carry on.

Dude your comments are getting dumber as time go on. GM makes quality vehicles? Youve got to be kidding me. My brother was a mechanic at Ford, GM, Mazda and now Toyota, and hands down the worst quality seen was the GMs.(ford/mazda was a close 2nd) For 3 years he came home and would tell me the problems that were brought in there. They were endless. They are a little better but the quality still does not even come near what Toyota/Nissan is spitting out. Not even close. The numbers dont lie.
EVOs are not unreliable the slightest bit. The 2003s had their share of problems (namely clutch/tranny) but the 2004, 2005, and 2006s have shown to be nearly bulletproof. I know over 30 people with EVOs and all w/the exception of 1 has been problem free, including myself with over 50k on the odometer. Oh BTW, my stock clutch lasted 52,000 miles with over 400hp. Weak stock cluthes...
Youre basing reliabilty off "your friends 2003 EVO" which is in the shop all the time. Wow great sample size.
We get the point you hate EVOs and I could really careless but just dont start with the bullcrap how they are unreliable and such bassed of your retarded sample.
Ive stated it time in and time out that Im not here to hate on F-bodies or any GM vehicle for that matter, as I happen to like them and respect them very much, howevre, I will defend my car when it comes time.
Maybe you should grow up and respect other people's opinions regardin certain matters. THe thread starter made a simple post about his loss in a respectful way yet you have to immediately come on here and try and degrade the car as much as possible. Why? To make yourself try feel superior about your LS1?
I have many friends with Vettes, TAs Camaros and none have near the attitude you have. Even if they dont like my car they dont act like ignorant tools like you have on these forums. You dont have to like it, but you dont have to be a ***** either.
I see your in NJ, what kind of mods you running? Maybe we can do a friendly pull.

Yeah Mitsu will void your warranty, but who buys an EVO for a warranty.. and who keeps it stock?

Yes, cars do break often especially when racing them. I havent run into this problem as of yet. The trasnfer cases on the EVOs are fine, just not on the 2003s, transmissions/clutches alike. Like I said before, the 2004-2006s have been great reliability wise. The 2003s were NOT. Every car has an issue from the factory? Um maybe youre too set on buying GMs, but that is definitely not the case. Maybe you should raise your standards a notch.
EVO not as fast an F-body? In what, drag racing, sure I dont disagree with that. Of course, I dont think people buys EVOs to drag race them, they buy them because theyre good at doing a lot of things, you know, like turning/handling and stopping. Some of us kinda like doing that. To be honest, an F-body with some bolts on and an EVO with bolt-ons is a damn close race. Once you start doing crazy drag setups with slicks and juiice, the F-body pulls per $, no one argues that.

You havent seen people buying EVOs for anything but drag racing?
I dont know where you live but thats a little hard to believe.Im impressed youve owned those cars, however I said in my previous post that maybe you were too set on buying GMs, judging from your comments on quality. Sorry if I came off as assertive.
All Im trying to say is that people buy things for different reasons. I could have gotten a Camaro or TA but it didnt suit me. I dont want to just drag racing, and for it to handle good, I didnt want to spend thousands of dollars.
My car is still on the stock turbo, its reliable as can be, has 4 doors, AWD for any weather and can haul *** in a straight line for little money. Thats why I bought it. If my only concern was drag racing, I would have gotten that 2001 Camaro SS I checked out. It didnt happen that way.
You guys can argue about this all day long.
All cars have their problems, Chevys, Mitsus and Hondas. Hell, Hyundai has a better initial quality rating then ALL of them (with the the exception of Porsche and Toyota).
With that being said, I think you should all buy Hyundais and be done with it
