i need some input.... theres a guy at work im gonna be racing tomm. night,...this isnt a "what if" post because its gonna actually happen, id just like to know how close this might be......1st ive raced several mustangs before from brand new gts, to an 88 cammed 5.0...this kid has a 95 5.0 with boltons and some head work and its a stick, this is what he told me...but im taking it with a grain of salt...ive seen the car but not the mods...he states that it makes 290/370 which i told him was total bs...you can see my mods, and all together i just wanted to know how close it would be?...my car makes 320/308

My brother has a '95 5.0 (it's a convertible) and he has everything done to the engine, full bolt on's, heads & cam, tune, etc. I think he put down 340 RWHP on the dyno. I will double check with him ASAP. I haven't raced his car yet, but from driving it I can tell you I firmly believe my T/A would win if we raced. That's if he didn't use the Nitrous. Oh, he has a 300 shot on it too....so he'd murder me with the gas. If I were you I'd race that guy, I'm pretty sure you will win.

their is no way his 5.0 is making 370ftlbs unless he s spraying but if he was spraying he should have more than 290 hp, so things here arnt adding up on his part.
ive raced alot of mod'd mustangs around here and usually the older 5.0 just cant hang unless theyv been stroked, & lightend, or force fed.
