How much do passengers really slow you down?

It's weight. If you have 3 guys (which is kind of gay in the first place, being such a small car) in your car you are most likely going to be a half second slower.

100#'s equal 1/10th (.08 to .1) of a second when you get in to our weight cars. It won't effect you as much from a roll (in most cases, do to tourque).

But anyway, if you have 3 guys in your car you are most likely going to be a 1/2 second slower in the 1/4.

yeah, figure every 100 lbs is worth a car length. So, your 200 lb buddy in the passenger seat is like spotting anyone you run two car lengths. Its an approximation, but pretty close.
