99 GT Gets Burried. My buddy has a 99 Mustang GT M5 ...He has been playing the "I cant get off the line" card with me every time. Even though I spin until I tear into 2nd. So....now he has some MT DR's..on top of CAI/TB/Elbow/3.73's/Cat-Back/Pulleys..and I have mods in sig. Now he jumps me out of the hole...but I reel him back in fairly quick and slowly pass him and pull him until the end of 3rd when I back out. I dont expect anyone to be very suprised...but its always fun to toast a buddy. 
Now I just need some DR's to make use of my 1st gear cause right now 1st is almost a total loss.

That's funny. My good mustang friend has those same mods, and mine are similar to yours. He runs a 13.6 here in Sac, I wonder what I would run. Findin out soon enough. Nice kill

Be sure to post if you get to run. I have yet to run mine at the track. I am assuming I am in 13.6-13.8 territory probably depending on how I hook. If it happens to hook....its gone....and if it doesnt...well...its a sad state of affairs until second gear. Cant wait for some DR's..just for that lil extra dig.

Mustangs sound VERY seductive. Just a really nice sound. But yea I agree, they should drive as well as they sound. (Mach1 & Cobra Excluded of course)
