I will just tell you all this much I thought for sure I was gonna get him. I had a half car on him from the start but once he hit second my buudy told me his whole car lifted up and that's when he gained the car length back. It sounded real nice but it was kind of a ratty stang to tell you the truth. I was very surprized when he came shooting past me in second thats why when we got done racing I asked what mods and he just didn't wanna say anything. So if I ever see him again I'm gonna stall the car up to 1500 rpms that will probley get me outta the hole a little faster. But ya I know those 5.0 in stock form are not as fast as the camaro stock for stock but this car wasnt stock. Some gears and I know he woulda been mine these 2.73's blow in stock form my first gear is a terror. But when it hits second it hits a little flat point takes it about two or three seconds to start getting into its power band I think if I had better gears this wouldnt happen? I know stall is the way to go but it is more expensive right? Anyways ya I couldnt get over it all day I just kept saying if he woulda kept going on the high speed run I woulda passed him but he stopped so no need to do the ricer fly by lol.

 

Nice death! You'd be hard pressed to find any Cobra in stock form nowadays, especially a 95 model. I'm sure the stock 5.0 is long gone.
