Were you test driving it, or what?

Weird, but still cool.

Seems like that kind of G's coming to a stop would 1.) deploy the air bags and/or 2.) cause internal injuries! Thats insane.

LOL, hope no one forgets to buckle-up, cause they're going for a ride of their own at that slowdown rate.

Haha,

Where did you here that???!?!

Ther reason it has 6 pot monoblock calipers if because it weighs 3 tons! You do realize you just said a 5000+ lb car can stop from 100 in under 40 ft right???

A little school...

An average F1 car can decelerate from 100-0 km/h (62-0 mph) in about 17 metres (55 feet), compared with a Dodge Viper (considered one of the best mass-production street cars for braking), which takes around 34 metres (112 feet). Usual braking forces for an F1 car are 4.5 g to 5.0 g (45 to 50 m/s²) when braking from 300 km/h, and can be as high as 5.5 g at the high-speed circuits such as Gilles Villenueve (Canadian GP) and Monza (Italian GP). This contrasts with 1.0 g to 1.5 g for the best sports cars (the Bugatti Veyron is claimed to be able to brake at 1.3 g).

There is no car out there that could stop in 2 car lengths. Like CTS said above, F1 cars lead the way, and you expect a boat to be able to? I think one of the hardest braking cars is a Ultima GTR. It does have the record for fastest 0-100-0. But I think it is still in the 100 ft. range.

I'm assuming they're there because alot of the owners of these cars would have a chauffeur, so if Mr. CEO reading his paper and then his champagne spills he can quickly see wtf the driver is doing .

An Abrahms Tank can do a stop 60mph to 0mph in 10feet, and that things weighs in at 72 tons.......But look how much rubber is on the ground at one time as well....LOL
