My buddy says that he will run circles around me all day. He has a stock (not even an intake/filter) STOCK 03 Mach 1. He wants to run after i get my H/C installed. Hes says he beat cammed ls1's before and hell do it again. I know NOTHING about stangs. Look at my sig, under the bottom for what I will have when I am done next week. Will I have a problem??

 

hahahaha...Hell No you won't have any problems!! Once you bought your car all your problems with mustangs went by-by(except 03/04 cobras). Run him for money and have fun!

I raced my buddies 03 Mach when we were both bone stock on street tires at the track. He ran a 9 flat and I was an 8.7 in the 8th mile. You should have no problems stock much less with a H/C setup.

 

You should have no problem beating him. Have fun killing him. Let us know what happends and if possible video tape it and post it up.

Hmm...you might have takin it a little to far...he would only beat him in reverse if they raced to 60mph, after that the mustang might start to pull...a little

 

Just make sure you pratice launching with the extra power if you go from a dig so you don't spin madly, even then you'll still beat him though. They are a handful for stock ls1s, but with your mods it shouldn't even be a contest unless he's lying about not having anything.

 

um he's on crack and we have a mach1, stock against stock sure he could win, but stock Vs h/c?? Crazyness...

 

No, I KNOW he doesnt have anything. It took him putting that thing in the dirt before he would buy new tires. He dumps it all into his Harley. Hes a friend, but still a trash talker. Ive done more mods to his car than he has. I painted his calipers for him.

 

I have a 98 ss and i have smoked cobra's and mach 1's at the track. i only have a exhaust with 112,000 mi. on the obo, but i can't touch a supercharged corba those cars are fast. that mach 1 should be a easy kill

Haha, it is never a waste of time putting a cocky driver in their place, especially when that driver happens to own a stang .

 

stock for stock with equal drivers is almost a dead heat. you with simple bolt ons should tear him a new *******, let alone H/C package...

 

i don't know, my friend just bought an automatic 03 mach 1, and i was worried about running him, but my other friend with his z28 put 2 cars on him from a dig, and i got his z28 by a 1/4 panel, all i got is a m6 with lid, but i haven't ran the mach 1 yet
