raced a "steeda"
so this guy i no calls me one day.. he tells me how he bought a steeda and blah blah blah.... i htought to myself yeah right but i meet him anyway. i look at the car and it looks jus like 1. i see a boost gauge and im like damn dude i guess u did get one... long story short i race him 3 times.. beat him everytime by 4 or 5 cars... then he sprays it (125 wet shot) and he gets me off the line but then i creep on him and he hits the breaks at around 80 when im close to passing him.we go back to his house and he pops his hood.... no s/c. come to find out hes got a gt and some guy put steeda symbols on it... guess thats why u check into the car b4 you buy it.. he was going to buy a 2000 ta but passed it up for this "steeda"

if the guy that sold it to him told him it was s steeda, he can take him to court, probably get his money back, im not sure what the laws are where he's from, but in texas, if someone sells u somethig, and leads u to believe it's somehting that it really is not, u kick that persons ***, then take him t court. TRUE STORY.

I don't know if a law like that would protect a person from their sheer ignorance.
Before I would buy a "special edition" anything, I would be doing one heck of a lot of research to know what to look for, first thing being the VIN codes.

I think if you can't tell the difference between a s/c being under the hood and one not, you really don't need one. I've seen a V6 Convertable w/ "SALEEN" on the windshield, how funny is that?

haha yeah he is an idiot... when i opened the hood im like dude theres no s/c in here and hes like yeah there is and then i asked him to show me and he couldnt. when i raced him i was completly stock. all i had was a lid. but yeah hes a dumbass.

Not all Saleen, Roush, and Steeda Mustang's come with superchargers. They all make appearance packages as Stage I cars. It isn't until you get into the Stage II/III cars that you get the supercharger.
