Yup that would be my guess too. I guess it has exhaust and intake. Intake/exhaust and ECU/jets will net you well over 300 RWHP, some freak Z's have put down upwards of 360 with those mods. Race seems about right though. I find nothing funny about it.

You can clearly see in the video, that the 300z doesnt know how to shift. The power advantage clearly goes to the Nissan. I know it sounds like I'm defending him(in a way I am), but you have to give the lose to the driver.

How about a rematch in the daytime so we can see the video better? Both cars seem very slow to me, when you punched it, it appeared like it was 1/2 throttle or were you guys just making sure the other one was on it?? I am not breaking ***** here, just haven't seen such a modest reaction to putting your foot to the floor on any of the videos posted lately. Redo the race in the daytime. Good kill bro, way to put another notch in the LS1 belt...!!!!!!!!

I think what everyone is saying is that regardless of the car's potential, it did lose this race. In this case the car was only as fast as the driver. There's no need to downplay this guy's kill because the loser couldn't drive well enough.

I'm not downplaying the guys kill! Even the owner of the LS1 agrees that the owner of the 300z, is an incompitent driver. I dont kow if I call it a win, if the owner agrees he has a slower car.

i owned a f-body before a 300zx. i was here when i had my trans am and i stick around cause i like f-bodys. i just don't like to listen to mis-information. i would correct a 300zx guy if he was spouting off bs comments.
from what i saw in the video the 300zx was faster... until the guy shifted. slow shifting in a boosted car is bad when you fall back out of boost. no excuses though just trying to clear some things up. nice kill and even better that it was on video.
