Default hmm...

so im rollin home with some dinner when a guy in a early 90's eclipse goes racing past me. now ordinarilly i let this go, especially from rice, but i couldnt resist when i saw him braking to wait on me.

got next to him...noticed he had some boost guages and sounded like a turbo on it...let him take off first (from roll around 45) went to about 85...i let up because he showed no signs of catching up. did it one more time (from stop this time) and i let off about 75 this time...with him again showing no signs of gaining.

i may have ran him further, but with me pullin ahead granny shiftin at 5000 rpms i saw no reason too. those cars quick at all? didnt appear so.

The turbo models (GST and GSX) can be made very fast relatively easily, but are nothing special when stock.

Well if it was a stock turbo model they ran low 15's stock. With a few mods they were still in the 14's. It taked abit of work to get them under a 13 in the 1/4 but not alot of money if you know what you are doing. BTW if it was a non-turbo that was turbo'd it would be VERY slow.
